Default Bumper/winch sag on STOCK suspension - how to correct sag?

Looking to install a bumper and winch. Will already have 1.75" spacers in the front. Don't want to loose that small lift when I install 200 lbs of bumper and winch. What to do, can't run more spacer - are there any options for stiffer front springs that are the stock height?

I have a heavy *** bumper and winch combo. Mine was well over 200 lbs. I only lost 3/4 of an inch. I would replace your spacers with longer coils in the 2-2.5" range.

Thanks, that's what I figured. What's the easiest/cheapest way to get longer springs for the front?

Most places that sell kits will sell you their springs separate. OME would be a good option. Fat Bob's garage has a few lower lift options.

A set of 3" std. duty lift coils will sag to about what you need from Rustys under a $100 he also makes a set of 3" lift coils made for a winch/bumper combo that are HD and will not sag I have a set of those.

Have followed your threads and wonder why you don't just install a proper lift to begin with instead of a half azzed work around to proceed without one then spend the money on a bumper and winch?

A full 3" leaf/coil, shocks and all hardware kit made in NA from Rustys excellent quality springs/coils is only about $450 the only other thing you would need as with any lift is an adj track bar and SB ext or disconnects. This is all you will need to do the lift. Then you can proceed with what you want in a timely manner knowing that this part won't have to be redone in short order, which it will for sure. With that kit you have a choice of coils to match what you plan for the XJ same cost. This is a quality kit made in NA.

With that size of a lift everything will be easies to do as with tires and wheels to fit and amount of trimming required if any. Plus it has very few other required items that have to be purchased for a 3" lift.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I figured I'd wait for the lift because I would ideally like to do the RE 3.5" plus other supporting modifications like SYE, track bar, and steering upgrade. All of that puts me up at a few grand in parts when it's all said and done, which just isn't feasible right now.

I figured since I'm fairly new and I'm just doing easy trail driving for now anyway, I'd do the least expensive option to gain a couple inches of lift and decent sized tires. That'll let me enjoy what I can this year and maybe next year on a budget, and then when it's time to go bigger and I have a few grand to spend, I'll only have to discard a couple hundred bucks worth of parts.

You could do a quality lift 3" for just over $500 for everything needed the Rustys leafs and coils are great and that's what what your paying for in any entry level lift anyway.

But I give up do it your way.

Do a cheap lift so I have **** ride quality and inferior parts? Just to gain another inch? Lol, no thanks. I'll wait and do it the right way when the time comes. Thanks for your opinion!

You need to read for a year or so to learn about lifts and what is the important parts of them are. Most who know buy a basic setup then add quality parts to the leafs and coils, never a big kit with mostly junk parts they throw together in them that do Ned to be replaced later.

It takes research right now your clueless.

Don't ask for help if you don't want to hear people's opinions. They're just trying to help you save money in the long run.

Oh I appreciate the opinions (I even said thanks multiple times). I don't appreciate the attitude. "do what you want" and "you're clueless" are not opinions, they're 2nd grade insults that help nobody. Thanks for the welcome to your community, lol - I think I'll go elsewhere from now on.
