Default Cold air intake

Anyone running spectra cold air, power aid spacers etc. are you seeing any improvements? Spectra vs k&n

i have the spectra cowl intake sucked at first noise was obnoxious but i sound deadened in the cowl when i did the interior almost back to stock sound wise, the system breathes much better though.

I installed a cold air today with a power aid spacer, has a lot of whistling going on

Drop the spacer, get your throttle body bored out. I run the k&n for now. Just got a little better throttle response from it. Nothing too noticeable.

running a k & N and a borred throttle body and its a considerable improvement just make sure you stay up to date with the tune ups obviously.

I have a river raider expedition snorkel. Gets the cold air from outside of the hood. Anything that intakes from under the hood is not a true "cold air intake". Havent installed mine yet, but its on the list of stuff to do soon!

I wouldn't even bother with a cold air intake. It doesn't even help. I would go to the junkyard and do the swiss cheese mod to the air box and get a bored throttle body

Major disagree. My ruggid ridge cai made a very noticeable difference on performance.
