Default Dana 35?

I am here once again trying to find out from from the experienced crew if thisbis a Dana 35 or a C8.25 (they look very similar to me) i will be replacing the cover since this one is very corroded/pitted. Also any suggestions in covers is greatly appreciated, was looking at ARB's but probably there is something better out there.

I see your point, but try asking Dana for Trac-Lok parts for a 8.25 trac lok. Oh, they produce them, but do not make serviceable parts like they do for the D35.. you cannot get spider gears or side gears for an 8 25 trac lok. You gotta buy the whole thing.

"Its a chrysler axle"

"You guys make the carrier"

"Yeah, but it's in a Chrysler differential"

"Someone is putting them together somewhere dip****"
