Diptard is still at it!!
So hi everyone. I am lucky to have a full head of hair so there is plenty to pull out. I posted a couple weeks back with injector issues and Im still at it. I hope I may get a little light shed on my darkest moment here. Please, if anyone may, help me befoer I am a skinhead. The story goes like this:
bought 12 hole injectors, gambled and lost with the adaptors, cut and soldered in ev6 plugs for the 12 holers and she started right up throwing engine codes for misfires on all cylinders. Those seemed to be getting better as the ecu learned its gig. Everything seemed to be going ok till P0203 came up. I was strapped for time and went to reinstall the old injectors using the adaptors I had. She started right and up then it was raining gasoline under my jeep. I had to leave for a week so like that she sat.
today I got into it... got a new plug to replace the old one and went to put the new 12 hole Injectors in; same code Po2o3. We have tested the plug, wires and tried to test the contiuity level at the Injector with a voltometer. Everything was coducting well yet I am still getting the code... questions and comments welcome

I would assume it means a bad injector. Any misfire codes?
Swap the injectors around, or unplug one at a time to make sure #3 is the bad one, and return/replace it if so
Edit:
Didn't see that you already replaced the injector
I would say it's wiring at that point? Is it always cyl 3 that has the misfire?

little more info:
testing the connectors - pulling the #2 off and probing it with the black and red tester sticks hooked up to the voltmeter gets power spiking from 2-3 volts to 13 ish when the injector fires... probing the #3 connector there seems to be a constant 13ish volts running through it Am I crazy??

watched a bit of YT... According to my symptoms I either have an open circuit or a bad ECU... Could a guru offer up some sage words of advice? Is the 96 ECU completely unique? should I run a bastard wire bypassing the loom? toss an ECU in there to see wtf?? Anyone? Anyone??
