I've got 3.55 gears and 31's. With the supercharger kit its a blast to drive. So far at these low boost levels I haven't needed a fuel controller, just bigger injectors and premium fuel.
Still running good? Any issues? I am interested in the kit. Can you post the link you used to buy your kit. Or, post item #, I can pull it up.

7th injector goes in adapter between m62 and throttle body.
Kit come with new fuel line that feeds fuel rail and extra injector.
Sorry don't have more pics right now.
His post says he bought one of the first ones. He's not the seller. Confused. Ebay link to the kit you bought?

Superdad5001 is eBay name sorry about that.
His post above says he bought the kit.

Runs a real safe a/f and has no drivability problems. Plus you can get a m62 for around $150 at any salvage yard. I rebuilt mine with new bearings, seals, and coupler for another $100.
Only needed a few little changes to fit my TJ.

So, your dad started a thread on DIY sc, but you guys aren't selling a kit. But someone name Superdad on Ebay is.

Then, what do you think of his kit?
Personally, I like the kit. It was a great upgrade. Seeing about 6.5-7psi boost. No issues whatsoever.

Rick Rimmer designed and built the kits. We bought a kit from Rimmer to evaluate it and possibly sell future kits (haven't decided if we want to yet). BBucha (Superdad) did the same and has decided to sell the kits on ebay.

Your install looks great, like the all black look.

I would try and get your open element K+N filter into some cold air and not the hot under engine compartment air. Maybe stock air box, cowl intake, duct cold air to inlet of stock box, etc. You could see 50 degree less intake air temps and up to 5% more power. Get an air filter on the open valve cover vent.

Thanks for the tips.
Working on snorkel kit. That should help out with cold air.
This kit on a TJ with body lift does not leave much room between throttle body and firewall. About 2" and the boot in kit won't clear brake booster so I made what you see just to get a filter on it.

The '97 ECU is good, unplug the front 'black' plug and plug in the SS plug and play.

I have bought several that looked like new for under $100 on eBay. I even bought one for $300 that was brand new, old stock from a GM dealership. To find a good deal you have to be patient, and search many different titles not just eaton m62. Try gm supercharger, 3800 supercharger, Pontiac supercharger, buick supercharger, ect. you will find many more listings that are not viewed as often and end up selling cheaper that way.

I originally bought a early kit and noticed the builder prefers to sell locally and doesn't take credit cards and PayPal ect. I was so impressed with the cost, ease of install, and performance gain I asked if I could partner up and sell online to broaden the range of the kits. Online the kits have been selling faster than we can keep them in stock. The next set should be ready within the next 10 days or so. As soon as I get more ready to ship I will re-post the ads.

What tuning options are there for pre-ODB II systems. The only thing I know of involves completely changing out the ecu.
Is there a boost level in which additional tuning isn't required?

The beauty of this kit is that stock N/A stays stock, no tuning required. When under boost, the Split Second box then turns on and then supplies additional fuel to the engine via the '7th' injector and it retards the timing, both in proportion to boost. If you have an ECU like pictured above, you are good to go. For others, you can get the Split Sec box with no connectors and wire it in yourself. Cutting and splicing and tapping a few wires, similar to a stereo install. You do have to have the '99+ intake or log manifold that uses the new style 3 bolt power steering unit.
