You could run this on a renix since a renix has a fuel return line you could use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. For those that dont know what that is. Its a fuel management unit where you set your base line pressure which be stock fuel pressure and then for every pound of boost it raises the fuel pressure 1psi so its essentially a 1:1 that runs off vacuum. The biggest problem with the 4.0 is it doesn't really leave you much for timing so it restricts how much you can do in a garage with some basic tools unless you wanna take the timing cover off

Map can be located anywhere as long as its plumbed to the intake manifold and sees boost. Ait sensor is located in the air tube feeding air to the TB and supercharger inlet. If it sees cool air it helps richen the mixture and advance timing slightly. I have mine reading charge air which causes a leaner open loop condition and less timing advance at WOT.

Just installed my kit yesterday on 'RaceJeep'. Cutting a JY hood today. Very easy install. I got the pre-made fuel line and the Split Second box with the pre-wired connector. Both install in less than 5 minutes. The rest is just bolt on, tighten, clamp, wire tie, adjust, cut and done.
Even a Caveman can do it.

Or do I need to find a supercharger and just order the install kit?
What am I getting through you and what am I getting myself? A hood for 100$ at a JY is a rip off btw, they're no more than 40$ here.

What level of boost are you running on race jeep? I got new 4.10 gears in mine now, shortly after break in I sheared the teeth off of my transfer case sye output shaft at the yoke, got that fixed and also solved my idle overheating. Finally all the bugs out I think. Should be ready to do a dyno run soon.

Haven't WOT it yet. Don't know full boost yet, but did see 4 pounds at 1/4 throttle last night.
Don't have the wideband on it yet to check for richer AFR to know for sure that the Split Sec box is tuned and working out of the box. Just being careful.

I still haven't put my jeep on a dyno yet but I entered it in the local car show today to try and gather more interest on the kits. I ran it on the drag strip and was surprised by the results. I went up against a 2012 mustang GT. My times were as follows 10.99 in the 1\8th at 62mph and 17.38 at 77mph. It launches hard but as expected runs out of steam past 60mph. This run was at mile high altitude. I had quite a leap on the mustang from launch until the 1/8th, that's when he caught up and passed me. Corrected for sea level and temps I would have run 15.576 @ 85.131 MPH. Seems slow to me, but all of the spectators thought it was a respectable time for a I6 lifted jeep.

It's interesting but I've seen much better setups where you can achieve this without cutting a hole in the hood (ugly as hell if you ask me). Sure, you might need to use a different type of supercharger and bracket but it's better than having a hood scoop if you ask me. Not to mention these Eaton superchargers are basically garbage when compared to a real supercharger like a Lysholm or something.
