frame stiffener thickness
alright guys i am about to stiffen the unibody and i was gonna go with 3/16th thick angle iron, now ive been reading that the companies use 1/8th inch. which would you choose? 1/8th or 3/16th? im starting to think the 1/8th is plenty

Depends how serious you're going to get with it. If you're just looking for a little more stregth 1/8" would be fine to cover most areas. I'm using 3/16" up in the steering box area because it's a high stress area. You might want to run the heavier gauge in other areas that are high stress like suspension links, spring perches or if you're going to tie a roll cage in.
