Headlights

I see by your user name and the fact that you posted this twice, that you may have confused yourself too much. Once it wears off, go to Quadratec, find the Hella H4 headlights, buy those and a H4 wiring harness from Putco or K's Suspension. This will give you high quality and period-correct headlights that are reasonably priced and that work in all conditions.
Please please please don't buy cheap LEDs from eBay that look like mosquito eyes. They ruin the look of XJs and are not appropriate for daily use. If you really want LEDs for whatever reason, save and get TruckLites.

Im running the cheap led projectors and love them. On the trail light output is 100% improved. Also running the upgraded wiring harness.
Truck shops might have the truck lights in stock. Kenworth peterbilt shops.
Theres othere options to. Halogen housings, halogen housing with led bulbs.
Im running morimoto led bulbs in my pickup.. cutoff of great the dont blind.
My jeep does blind cars but only when I drive it at night.

I, too bought the LED projector lights....I think from Amaz...not that cheap at $100 a set. Properly set, they are the bomb! Much improved visibility and I have only been flashed a couple of times from other drivers
so hopefully they don't glare too much at oncoming traffic. But so far, I think its the best $100 I have spent on the XJ.
Just checked and the price of the lamps is $85.99. Again, money well spent.
Once installed, take a drive through your neighborhood at night and if you get flashed by oncoming drivers....ADJUST the lamps downward and to the right.

I bought these based on a few posts here. I think it’ll go well with my XJ’s darker color and the smoke finish of the headlights.
