Default Horizontal tire wear

Does anyone know what could cause this? I got an alignment bc it was pulling to the right (and to see if it would stop making my tires wear like this...) and afterward it still makes the same horizontal marks when I drive... same on both sides, just front tires.

I replaced all of my suspension a couple years ago when I installed a 3.5 inch lift. These tires are brand new, but my old tires had the same marks. New tires are 32” cooper discoverer, if that makes a difference.

I couldn’t see any play in any of my components when I had a friend jiggle the wheel, just at the track bar frame side, so I replaced the bushing on that side. I haven’t been able to come to any conclusion so any ideas would be appreciated 😔

I might go into a different place and get a second reading on my alignment (I’ve heard Firestone is pretty reliable?), but other than that I’m at a loss...

No more than 200 miles, just some runs to work and autozone lol.

I’ll keep that in mind, hope it’s a fix that’s that easy, although the alignment I had done should’ve fixed that.... but who knows nowadays 🙄

Do they wear pretty evenly? If so, it could just be the marks left behind by turning the steering wheel since its only the front tires...

Did the shop provide you with before and after alignment specs?

I'd chaulk the tread face then drive straight for 50yds or so.
those are exspensesive tires.. get air pressure set **** so you wear 100% of the tread .

Toe is liking the only thing you got adjusted in the alignment wich is fine since its the only thing adjustable

So did you get the track accurate after the lift with an adjustable trackbar ?

you can check with a long straight edge or even just string and a few jack stands

lifting the vehicle offsets the entire front axle...the "alignment shop" machine compensates and doesnt read this at all

They should give you a printout for toe, castor and camber (but it wont show if your track is out)

just carefully measure toe-in with a tape measure by laying on your back!

..and yes, make certain you are running correct tyre pressure

Caster is also adjustable via shims behind the rear most mount on the lower control arms to move the arm forward or backwards.......but most places won't do it.
