Not sure of the diameter of the tubing on your rack, but I bet something like these brackets will work just fine. I plan to use them on the rack that I am getting for my XJ.

Quadratec has a lot of different brackets for lights. I bet you can find something that will work.

I wish i knew how to weld but thanks for the idea, maybe ask a buddy of mine, and i will look into those tabs. I dont think those particular tabs will work because if i mounted them the lights will be facing the roof hah

just a flat piece of 1/4 inch steel, about 1 inch wide and about 2.5 inches long with a 1/2 inch hole drilled for the light. weld it straight out flat from the bottom of the lower tube. the back round part of the light should fit in between the two round tubes.
i'll try to get a pic of mine later for ya.

Mount the bracket to the up rights,If they will be strong enough.Just easier.
My question is how do you power them and get a clean installation? I would not want to drill the roof.
You could drill the rack and fees the wire in the rack and power from the rear using the marker light circuit.
Just a though.
