Down here you would either be dragging your floor boards or have water inside in the swamp . with that size lift.

I understand the mud thing, and if the OP said it was going to be a mud truck than it wouldnt matter. But to be a good general purpose trail rig, thats too much. I hated 6.5" on 35's, I couldnt even imagine trying to wheel with that and being off camber what so ever.

I don't know if its possible to get 9inches on short arms?
Close, but you would be max extended.
Custom make 6in drop brackets. Would be better.Though they may have to be tied in at that point.
