the part time light is vacuum actuated...put the lines back where they belong. or check for vacuum leaks. this happens once in a while on my rig too. the difference is i've permanently moved my axle shift fork over...

U have CAD front axle has to have the lines to pull the axle shafts together! Lol put em back on! Or put a normal Dana 30 axle shaft in its place and block the hole off..?

Why did you disconnect vacuum lines? That's most likely why the front axle doesn't engage.
And what did you do to the ignition switch? I'm having trouble understanding your post.

Ok OP, it seems as if you removed the vacuum lines that actuate the axle lock. Now you have one of three options to correct this problem. 1)Reinstall the vacuum lines. 2)grab a one piece D30 axleshaft and install. 3)Install a 4x4 Posi-Lock cable kit in place of vacuum lines.

You already have a dana 30. as others have stated, you have the older vacuum disconnect model. Also as they have stated, you need to either hook your vacuums back up, or swap in 97 or newer axle shafts.
