I just picked up this used Kayline tire carrier from the 90s. I know they're long out of business, but wondering if anyone knows anything about these. I can't find any info anywhere

besure to reinforce jeep frame where this bolts on to the jeep. do not mount if not reinforced. That i know by seeing the picture. tie it into an reinforced frame.

Nice find! I know of the Kayline carriers, but have no information helpful to you. It is certainly a huge improvement over the factory ones, and should be fine if not holding a large wheel/tire combo and not exposed to major rock crawling. There have been concerns of the mounting when exposed to extreme use, but for normal street and off roading use it should work well.
