LED light bars, lets see em!
I wanna see how you guys mounted LED light bars. I think they would look great with the boxy style of the cherokee's but I cant find many pictures. Also if you know of some quality pieces at a reasonable price let me know. The Rigid LED bars are crazy expensive!
Im thinkin bout using these, maybe get two since they are 15 or 20"

Yeah, but... you get what you pay for.
Hopefully the Rigid stuff will come down soon.
4 Inch 8 White / Amber Flood / Spot 1.18 A 17.0 W 1,580 Lm 6.875"
6 Inch 12 White / Amber Flood / Spot / Combo 1.77 A 25.5 W 2,370 Lm 8.875"
10 Inch 20 White / Amber Flood / Spot / Combo 2.95 A 42.5 W 3,950 Lm 12.875"
20 Inch 40 White / Amber Combo 5.90 A 85.0 W 7,900 Lm 22.875"
30 Inch 60 White / Amber Combo 8.85 A 127.5 W 11,850 Lm 32.875"
40 Inch 80 White / Amber Combo 11.80 A 169.9 W 15,800 Lm 42.875"
50 Inch 100 White / Amber Combo 14.75 A 212.4 W 19,750 Lm 52.875"
The Rigid bar is twice as bright with twice as many LEDs. So figure it's 4 times brighter.
Idk. Why don't you order some up and report back.

I realized they arent the best but they arent that far off light wise from Rigid. The only one that really comparable is the 72W dual level LED like all of Rigids. The one is 15" with 5400 lm, that puts it right between the Rigid 10" and 20" and less than half the price. The Superbright has a 2 year warranty which isnt too bad.
Im just starting to look which is why Im asking if anyone has experience. LEDs are fairly simple and reliable, not super hard to make a light bar with em.

OK so its a super strong housing. If i wanted to spend a few hundred on rock lights they would be great. I dont plan on using my lights for target practice when mounted on my roof either. And I roll my jeep lights will be the least of my worries. Not saying they are bad but they are expensive and a bit over kill for the average guy.

And if you never ever drive on a road at all you'll be set!
Ever get a rock in the windshield while driving down a city street?
Ever go barreling down a dirt road behind you buddy?
Ever shatter a light without even trying?
Superior lighting and superior quality.
As stated earlier...you get what you pay for when you invest in Rigid LED's.

I bought 2 par of Duallys. One flood and one 60° (bought @SO). Aren't light bars but seems pretty good lights from videos. I'm still waiting for Custom Office that release them. Then I will install with another 4 Hella 700 that are still waiting at home. In a couple of weeks I hope have some pictures.

There's more to those LEDs than just a circuit board too. That's like saying that your computer is just a circuit board and a metal platter spinning with some cables connecting everything together.
Those LEDs require drivers to regulate the voltage and amperage to make sure that they are operating within spec at certain ranges. I've seen cheap regulators go out extremely quickly. My Hella Celis headlights dropped their voltage regulators/LED drivers for the halos within 2 weeks. Bought a quality replacement, been running problem free for over 2 years now.
Granted a quality regulator isn't huge money, but all the quality packed up together makes a difference. The cheaper ones might well work for you, but there's a lot more to it than just wiring them up in series and calling it a day.
Back on topic, I'd like to see more LED light bars myself. I've been kicking around the idea of running some as fogs/aux lights. Best spot for me at this point is probably the factory fog location in the bumper since I don't have factory fogs.

You really do get what you pay for. After seeing lots of videos and reviews on cheaper stuff (and I mean 500ish dollar range) I'm gonna be spending my money once on a quality piece.
