I have a welded rear d 35 and its fine u don't even notice it unless its in a parking lot backing out or coming in. I say go for it.

Yea they work the same.... But a spool is 400% stronger then welded spiders.

just got my d35 welded up, it is a dd. i figure it will speed up the process of it breaking so i can swap in an 8.8 lol. i say go for it, you will like the extra traction

Spooled dif acts like a Lincoln locker. Both tires go same speed all the time. Eats your tires if a dd. also not sure if they make a spool or mini spool for the 8.25

and what it does is replace either the spider gears (mini spool) or the carrier (full spool)
it's mostly used on trail trucks only. and they dont make one for the 8.25 I just found out
