I have been sub'ed to this for a while and have read through it countless times. I'm working on a low cog rig right now. I'm curious, how many inches of bump stop would you add to a 3" lift to run 35's? And also what shock specs did you use? That's probably my biggest question, though it goes hand in hand. I realize 35's on 3" would not be tough for you to do, but I'm trying to "hone in" my build skills. Thanks!

Loving this thread. Lots of good useful info. I run a 43" TSL/SX with roughly 6.5" inches of lift, I love the way it works and rides. Opening up the wheel wells and proper bump stops are definitely the way to go. I've been in XJ's with 9 plus inches of lift an they just feel way to unstable, like you are going to tip over at any moment the minute your in an off camber situation. Awesome write up and info.

Question, I saw that RC has a long arm upgrade kit (I'm not going to get into an argument about how everybody loves/hates RC compared to other brands), it comes with the cossmember, transfer case skid, arms, and hardware (I believe that's it). As of now I have a RC 3" lift and it works well with 31's, stock bumpstops/control arms and trimmed fenders. Would I be able to successfully use this kit with my current springs without the arms binding in up travel? Eventually I'm looking at going to 33's or 35's adding as little height as possible. Thanks in advance

question. for the 3" guys what track bar are you running? all the ones iv found are for 4.5" and up.... or do you just relocate it? thanks!

I'm still running my stock one, you can get a bracket to relocate it 3/4" over, that axle shifts to the drivers ride when lifted, a couple buddies of mine run RC track bars but I wouldn't recommend it, I'm saving for either a IRO or BDS double shear
