8" lift would never be lcog. You can run 42's on a 6" lift

I'm not LCOG, I posted in the wrong thread But had replies correcting me so went with it. I feel like I just went into the wrong restroom... staying with lift height,. eventually moving to one tons with bigger tires when money allows.. AND I'll not make the post mistake again, sorry for offending the LCOG Guys...

does 4 inches and 42's count? I still need to push the rear axle back a few inches but should be good to go by the end of the weekend.

you mean to tell me you didn't install a 3.5" lift and 33" tires and immediately post a picture in the LCG thread? it must not be low cog then. cutting your fenders is cheating anyway, disqualified!!

Is 3.75 inch best backspace for 33x10.5 15s on 15x8s with 3.5 inch lift? Will be getting bushwacker fender flares when I get the tires.

Motor mounts used to lower the engine? Seems like more trouble than it would be worth. That fat oil pan already hangs down far enough.

Ok dont shoot me but i am looking to do a long arm upgrade on my ZJ and eventually have it on 35's(will be on 33's for a while) but i want to keep it at it's current height 3.5" lift. IRO(Iron Rock) said i have to have 5.5" to run their upgrade, and i am unsure if the B-Lee would fit the ZJ since it's meant for an XJ. There isn't many options for us ZJ guys. and i dont have the fab skills yet to build my own setup, so i am looking to purchase one.

This probably shouldn't be in the LCOG thread, there's a Grand cherokee specific Ask the question thread this could go in.

Anywho, the couple weeks I researched for my ZJ lead to IRO being the most user friendly for install and such. The only con I could find was a lot of people still don't like how the caster is adjusted by one 10mm bolt. I've also emailed them and they were very responsive and knowledgeable. I came to the same conclusion that the 5.5" kit, with 35"s, with fender trimming would be just about perfect for the ZJ(mines a '96 5.2). IIRC in one of the emails there was something about the possibility of needing a custom driveshaft for the front depending on exactly what you want. I shifted focus on Jeeps so I haven't pulled the trigger on the ZJ yet but plan to eventually in a few years if all goes to plan...lol
