Ok dont shoot me but i am looking to do a long arm upgrade on my ZJ and eventually have it on 35's(will be on 33's for a while) but i want to keep it at it's current height 3.5" lift. IRO(Iron Rock) said i have to have 5.5" to run their upgrade, and i am unsure if the B-Lee would fit the ZJ since it's meant for an XJ. There isn't many options for us ZJ guys. and i dont have the fab skills yet to build my own setup, so i am looking to purchase one.

I ended up finding a 4" kit that looks like it will fit. i haven't started the install yet because the trans needs replacing first and it will get done after that since one of the members of the local jeep club i am a part of is replacing the trans and putting on my front long arm cross member. I will be also stepping up to 35's when i wear out the 33's i put on it as well.

you experience very little binding unless you're running greater than 12" of suspension travel/cycle. especially at a lift height less than 5" it's a non issue. Unloading is only an issue on EXTREME climbs (I'm talking ledges > 60* angle) the front end will feel a little light and start to unload. That's it. there's very little noticeable downside to radius arms
if you experience this problems often you can easily convert the TNT kit into a 3 link.

I figured at my height I want to keep as much clearance as I can and probably won't see a difference between 3 link vs radius.

leaf spring flex
I am going to be getting a 87 cherokee pioneer soon and was thinking about doing a 2-3 in lift and cutting fenders to fit the tires thinking about 32s for now but possibly going to 35s later but may just go with 33s. my question is I was considering using ZJcoils up front with spacers to give me the 2-3 inch lift and maybe "bastard" packs on the back but I was wondering how the bastard packs and ZJ coils will flex are they stiffer than just buying a 2 or 3 inch lift springs for the front and rear.
thanks for any advice you can give me.

You know what sucks about Low COG setups?
Water crossings.....
whatever tire size you get, I wouldn't plan on going bigger in the near future, that's just a big wast of money and time. Go with one size and don't look back
BTW I have 31s on 2" of lift with the fenders all trimmed the minimal ammunt and I have lots and lots of room to fit 32s or maybe even 33s. I also know exactly how hard I can go before I hit the front bump stops, which happens fairly often

I'm sure this question has been asked to you already, considering the post is 6 years old now haha but I was hoping you could give me a little more info on your bump stops. I'm thinking of running 33's and stock height and was wondering if you had any ideas as to what length bump stops I should be looking at getting? I've already locked down proper shocks, steering, and control arms, bump stops are defintely the next thing I need.

Best method is to flex it and see. Flexing the front out is simple, put vehicle on stands high enough for the tires to be off of the ground at full droop, pull the springs, and lift each tire until it contacts something, then measure for your stops. Your rear is more of a nuisance, will have to lift it and compress the leaf springs. Forklift or loading bay ramp (the type the tractor trailer backs down a ramp below ground level) are your best options.
