I understand the limit strap concept, but I was wondering why you thought you needed them. Are you getting a lot of rapid down travel from being air born?

Acasional metal to metal clank on extension even during slow speeds articulating. 20 bucks of protection for a 600 $ shock.
I used my used lower shock brackets knew there was a reason I've been dragging my feet to cut them off.
Have some tuning to turn brake line fitting on hose vertical grind the rib the holds the fitting horizontal brack line is right where ture rubs control arm
And no not airborne but close going over rollers fast and badger holes at 60

Just wondered. I rarely have stuff at speed to worry about. Too many big rocks On those brake lines, I put a half twist in them and helps keep them from rubbing. I lost a front brake line on a hill I couldn't back down and couldn't go forward either. No lockers then. I had to winch out using just the base of brush for an anchor. I had another 40 miles off road to drive to get home. Lesson learned. Ripped up the track bar mounts too. Lesson learned there too

I haven't noticed them on extension just slow speeds stuff. My fast phase is wearing down.
going slow crawling technical stuff when it hangs a front tire in the air it'll clank cause the other side and rear is kinda trying to keep that tire pushes towards the ground.
I set the straps at 11" of extension shocks are twelve

That is probably wise. My shocks have 14" travel and that leaves a little at full droop that is not under pressure from the spring

Looks like it should work. The one I had go south on me was also a braided stainless line. I was surprised it failed, it was rubbing on the shock cover. Apparently that stainless is not very tough

My brakes are crap so i guess I don't notice slight improvements on them. The wj brakes are maybe a slight improvement.
I'm thinking about doing a new master cylinder and booster. Every once in awhile I hear a hiss sound.. 🥺
My master and booster are out of a 92 My jeeps a 89. Not sure why I changed the last time.
