Well, it all turned out this way: installed a new Spectra radiator, new gates water pump. New thermostat and thermostat housing, new fan clutch and since i was in the process new reservoir tank (this last one just because it was all yellow and looks really nice in there)
I couldn't find any of the parts OEM except from the thermostat housing. Run it today a little bit and expressway temp is below 210 and street is 210 or slightly above.
the reason behind replacing everything is to avoid the hassle of going through this again in the near future. Thank you all forbthe ideas and imputs. Some pictures below.

yes, that will be the plan. flushing at least twice more. the coolant reservoir looks clean in that picture since i was trying to wash it several times until decided to buy a new one.

p.s. I just replaced mine with a MOPAR water pump for under $75.

It was flushed several times prior to the replacement of the parts, then parts were replaced. the only part i found to be Mopar was the thermostat cover, nothing else. i would have wanted to replace with original parts to no avail. there was only a water pump manufactured by Chrysler for $157.00 but the cross reference did not match my numbers even though the pump looked exactly the same. could not risk it.
