Like I said, aftermarket is great but, a stock front driveshaft will do just fine for most people. Obviously, a Tom Wood's or Adams is a perfect fit and stronger.

The best riding 4x4 was my 90 Range Rover Hunter Edition (from the factory, no sway bars). You could basically take open coffee mugs on the fire roads behind my home. The OME is almost as good. It does away the bone jarring, teeth rattling ride on washboard.

At a 2-3" lift a factory front shaft will do. I've seen some custom driveshaft shops use import parts so you end up chasing a humming and using that warranty.

TIA,
Also very interested in hearing first-hand experience with this kit. My rear leafs are sagging again after about ix years, and my front shocks are done for anyway. I'm looking at either the Quadratec 1.5" OME kit, or the piecemeal Amazon kit that gives you the Upcountry option ride height:

I pulled the trigger on the OME 1.5 kit from Quadratech. Going on in a few days, I will post results

I just rode in my buddies XJ with an OME kit, the thing rides perfect! I've never seen that good of ride on a lifted Jeep.

when I bought the HP Dana 30 for the front swap I got the driveshaft as well. I will be using it with my SYE kit. Will serve my purposes well and save be 250.00 to put into sliders from AJ.

HD Offroad Engineering, has both an adds-lift and original ride height relocation unit. The one that adds lift purely bolts on. The no-lift style requires you to do some work with a grinder: the original boxes get removed.
