CS033RB's and we took the third leaf out per the OME spec sheet.

looks good. seems level front to back in the picture. any drive line vibes? did you install the tc case drop kit?

 

The kit came with a drop kit for the T-Case. Just some spacers. I've had it up to about 60 with no issues, vibrations, etc. Tires are 7 years old and bald, gonna change that next week. Pretty Happy, it drives way better than before.

What size tires? 30's? You gonna get some new wheels too? It'll look real good with some bigger rubber.

Is the tcase drop 1"? I might take it off your hands if you dont need it, but if I end up with only minor vibes, I might just deal with it till I get a sye. Still undecided.

 

Got the tires, 265/75R16. So far so good. Rides well, just a random rub here and there. I can go lock to lock with no LCA rub, just a bit when I hit something just right. Probably wouldn't work without rubbing on the trail, but I think it will be fine on the beach. Put a before pic in for reference.

LOL! Nice, I was about to say, that's like a 32 inch tire. Looks good man!

If your not getting any rubbing from lock to lock, you are probably hearing the tire rub against the front bumper caps.

Either way, Looks good man! Thinking about new wheels to go with it?

 

Ok here goes, I was going back and forth on the 245/265 decision. I found some discontinued Wrangler ArmorTrac's and I ordered 245/75/R16's. They shipped and installed 265/75/R16's. I had to double-check but that's what I am running. I guess it the rub gets bad I can drop that 3rd leave back in that we took out, and get some coil spacers for the front? That will give me another inch or so. Or I can trim. That 3/4 ton Suburban in the background came with 245's and now I run 295's with no lift. Talk about trimming, I had to get creative on that pig.

Damn, that's kinda nice! Just know that you might run into some vibes if you lift it up another inch, but maybe not. You never know. Actually, that's pretty much exactly what the 3.5" kit from DPG is. You get some other nice goodies, but that's pretty much what goes into the lift.

 

OME 2.5" super kit from DPG. I replaced LCAs with 16" RE (1/4" longer than stock and put in new ZJ tie rod and drag link.

I got 3 1/4" in the rear with one leaf removed and maybe 2.5 - 3" up front. It works cause my *** end was sagging worse than the front. BI'm waiting for it to be aligned right now, but it rides/drives much better in pretty much every way. Compared to before, acceleration is way more responsive, braking doesn't dive the front end, corner stability is much better and I don't bounce after bumps anymore. I may think I have constant front driveline vibes... don't want to call it until it's aligned. I expect some front joints could use attention.

As far as the lift parts, my only complaint is that the ARB (OME) parts were poorly packaged/shipped. One leaf rivet was broken and I'm surprised all four shocks made it to me. One front shock bolt was missing. I found others with this issue when I searched for the bolt size on Google.

I would probably consider the metal clock or RE kit if I did it again. I'd probably go with the metal cloak kit if they could tell me that they ship directly instead of drop shipping from a warehouse.

The DPG, RE, and JKS parts were all properly packaged for shipping. JKS even put their trackbar in a double walled box. Even the stock ZJ steering parts were better packed than the OME stuff.

9/10 is my assessment overall.

I would say, don't blame OME for the way the parts were delivered. Leaf springs are never boxed, you'll get them with a label tapped to them from anywhere. Plus if the OME parts hand a longer transit time, they are much more prone to more issues. I personally received all my parts in great condition. Couple dings on the boxes, but nothing was damaged or missing.

 

I have bought leaf springs on Amazon that were boxed and delivered in perfect condition.
