Pic Request: 3 inch lift with 32 inch tires
Okay so I may have been a little to trigger happy today and I decided to pull the trigger on a brand new set of Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 tires in a 32x11.50x15 size.
Currently I have a 3 inch OME lift on my Cherokee (with 3.5 inches in the rear) with 30 inch tires.
I don't wheel the thing at all, I just use it for snow, trails, and some light off roading. Unlike a lot of guys however I like the stock fender flares and would prefer not to cut them if I don't have to.
My wheels are 15x8 Ravine wheels and I've got 1.5 inch wheel spacers as well which means I should 4" of backspacing if I understand the whole backspacing thing correctly.
Am I screwed? Did I order too big of a tire to fit under what I've got? Like I said, I like the stock fender flares so I don't want to trim if I don't have to. If I need to go an inch or two taller I will to avoid trimming.
I'd love to see some pictures of what 32s look like on a 3 inch lift.

you'll be fine. I love it where it's at. I rub while turning but I'm on stock wheels. If you're dding and only doing light wheelin it'll be great for you just bump stop accordingly so you don't pop off those flares! I know most people get rid of them but I also like the way they look and I don't have a need for a larger tire

I trimmed a lot., mashed a lot. The trick is to do it so no one notices
I run 32 10.5 16. 3in lift basically. However the tires are tall for 33's. Proper back spacing, proper bump stop, and trimming in just the right places. If I had no lift I still would not rub anywhere driving or flexing. Its all on how much time you spend setting up the suspension properly.
Anywho.

Black looks good!
I'm hoping that the 1.5 inch wheel spacers I bought will make things a little better. For the most part I just use the Jeep for daily driving so I hope it won't rub too bad for that.
Didn't think about the bump stops, I'll keep that in mind!

If they are you can always move your flares up an inch to get more clearance, requires some cutting but after it's done you won't be able to notice any difference besides the bigger wheel well

I run stock back spacing with 1.5" wheel spacers.
Unidentifiedbomb speaks the truth. I also raised my front flares an inch. Just a little different way.
Bump stops are mainly for off roading. I do not have any swaybars. If you run sway bars your tires won't rub near as much. If they rub just trim that area until they do not rub anymore. With a little trimming on the edges, in which no one would notice.

Okay so I'm not totally screwed. After I ordered the tires I was like crap maybe I should have got 31s instead... I was worried about rubbing.
They ain't 35s though so I suppose if there are some rubbing issues it can't be anywhere near as bad as an even bigger tire would be.

There's a write up on the rear as well, if i ever get bumpers I plan to raise mine up, I have a 3.5" in the front and 4" lift in the rear planning on leveling out the front so I'll be 4" on 31s and raising the flares will just give it a better look imo and possibly a set of 32s for me one day
