to me it looks like the driver rear tire is leaning in on the top. i would measure between inside of the rims top and bottom, then front and back to see if the wheels are even parallel to eachother.

When I get some time I'll get it in the shop again and do a handful of measurements again. I've heard of this issue before but not sure what people came up with as a reason why or a fix.

Damn you're right, that passenger tire might just be fine lol could be the driver tire giving you issues

Not doubting that one side is in or out but pictures can be and in this case are deceiving. In your example you can see less of the left side of the vehicle than you can on right (ie slightly different point of view).


I would lift XJ so tires are clear. Pull in and out on each wheel to see how much in out play there is on each axle.
Remove the tires and see if axle looks offset without them. If your on level ground drop a plumb bob from same point on each side down to axle.
While tires are off measure the offset on rims. Stick tires back on opposite side and see if it looks the same.
