Thanks, The new Rubicons are 31.5" with the BFG mud terrains. No rub on a 3" lift , but when loaded down with people and gear, its a rub on every bump. Ended up getting the Bushwacker cutout fenders and ive been problem free since. highly recomended.

I literally did this 2 days ago. 245 60 17 on a 2000 xj with a sagging stock suspension. No rubbing driving around town. I used 1 1/4" spacers and the only thing I didn't expect was that the rear studs would be just barely too short, luckily replacing rear studs isn't that big of a pain in the ***.

Also, shackle bolt looks like it contacts tailpipe. I turned the bolt around the other way. Not trying to criticize, just help.

The solid axle diff cover is way deeper than the stock one, there is like almost six bottles of lube in there. Yes that much, I had to make 2 trips to the auto parts store to fill it.
And the exhaust pipe rubs on turns only whatever way the bolt is facing . I just been a bit lazy. I need to cut it off.

I love the look of the 2013 + Rubicon Wheels on an XJ. I have a Black 99 that I think they would look great on. 255/75/17's are 32" not 31.5 as mentioned else where on this thread. Could I run these with a 3" lift if I did not get crazy with the flex? Just a DD not a trail truck....

did mine last weekend with 1.25" spidertrax adapters. back spacing is about .5" more than stock wheel which brings the tires right out to the edge, maybe a 1/4" past the stock fenders. i love the new 2013 wheels. they dont work if your xj is green, or blue, or a weird color that doesn't carry the finish in the wheels.
