Ive only owned rustys hydros and RC hydros..the RC hydros to me rode much worse than the rustys. Im currently running a 4.5 inch rubicon lift with rustys hyrdos..They arent horrible..and are like 33 a piece.

Do they make the stock mounting style in the length needed for 6-6.5 inches of lift? Or are the bar pin eliminators needed along with the upper rod mount conversion thing?

Edit: Posted the same one as you!
I might go higher than 6.5''. If I fit into my garage with room to spare, I might throw on 1-2'' spacers, lol.

It says itll work with a little taller lift, I would go with them..
I run em on my 4.5 lift cause after buying a house and being inbetween jobs im too broke to buy bilsteins or fox shocks. Id go with those and youll be set.

Awesome, great info. I may have found what I am gonna go with for the time being at least.
Do you guys think the fully extended length will work for me. My approximate measurement from the lower mount to the upper mount at ride it is about 24". So that would give me about 5 inches of up travel and about 7 inches of down travel.

Nitro models have nitrogen in them and have a faster response but sacrifice ride quality a lot.
Hydro models use a hydrogen base and are much softer. I would never recommend any sort of nitrogen shock for a daily driver.
