Ok so super 44 i think for sure. Was it hard to do the duals for the 40? I think i just want a single pipe and it sounds like the super 44 sounds v-8 ish at idle and at lower rpm's but then doesnt when you get higher. I MIGHT get some flow daddy headers for it too but i dont think so. Also what do you guys think of the x2 chip, performance intake, and the oxygen performance module? Will they actually end up getting me close to 100 hp with the super 44 too?

I used to run the super 40 series and got sick of the sound after 6 years so I upgraded to the 10 series. It is much louder and deeper than the 40 series. I don’t think I would call it higher pitched or anything. The thing I like about it is the sound doesn’t seem to die off at higher rpms like the 40 series did. It does have a much louder drone than the 40 series but I was looking for something louder and that’s exactly what I got. Honestly people that say it sounds "ricey" haven’t actually heard it on a xj, its very far from ricey.

Duals on a xj are kind of a waste because unless you want to spend a ton of money on making them true duals( custom header).

It wasn't too hard to do the duals on the jeep actually. The flowmaster I got had 2 outlets so I just took the stock tailpipe and ran it straight off the right outlet and welded it. For the left outlet, I welded a small straight peice of pipe to get past the rear axle, then I used an elbow to turn it to the left. I welded that to another straight peice and then to another elbow to turn the pipe toward the rear, then I used another straight peice to get to the bumper. Basically, for the left, you just go around the gas tank.
