salt sucks....

real reason for posting:
So in an attempt to pull by buddy out of a chreokee eating pit (at SOR) i ripped my tire swing bumper clean off. pulled those God dammn welded nuts right through the bumper mounting surface. i havent seen anyone mend this problem that i am sure is not unique to me. so before i start making stuff i decided to see what yall had to say.

used a rear bumper for recovery without tie ins? yup, thatll do it.

Weld some metal in there and this time use frame tie ins.

Gunna have to fix the damage and then remount the bumper through frame ties only way. thats like mounting a winch in the catory spot on th euniftame cross member

welded two plates to the bumper that slide into the "frame" then ran bolts thru. fixed for the time being
