You can't really. Bushings can wear out, holes can become ovaled out, the tre can wear out. Unless you bend something you can't "knock it out of alignment."

Yeah. Pretty much just this.
Have you lifted your jeep recently? If you did, you need to do one of two things (and I do mean TWO).
1) Unbolt your track bar from the axle and drill a new hole... writeup here http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoTrackbar.htm
2) Buy a QUALITY adjustable track bar such as JKS, Rubicon Express, or Zone (there are other great companies out there, just be sure to do your research) and adjust it to the correct length accordingly.
Don't waste your money on track bar relocation brackets. They're another perfect example of a product that fixes one problem (axle out of align) yet causes another one (bump steer).
