transfer case problem
hello everyone, new to the site. i just did alot of work to my 1998 xj, one of the things that i needed was a SYE kit so my buddy had one from his 1994 said with the SYE kit already installed, so today i swapped them out everything went very smooth on the test drive ran smooth no more rear vibration but did notice my speedo does not work, on his TC it had a different connection than my 98, so im wondering does anyone know if i need a short or long speedo gear and for running 33" tires how many teeth, ive tried looking online, but got no where also my check engine light came on but all i did was the TC should i be worried i tested 4hi and 4 low all worked amazing or should i not worry and just clear it, thanks for the info

If you are going to take the time to clear the CEL, then you might as well pull the codes and see what caused it. That makes much more sense than just clearing it and not worrying about it.....
