Default Unity Spotlight On XJ?

So I picked up. Unity spotlight from the JY months ago. Finally got the kahunas to install it. I'm wondering if anyone's done this in a cherokee. And if they have any pros or cons on it. Thanks!

Don't do it,You have to drill a good size hole all the way through the thin a pillar your jeep has.And its old from the 90s it might not even work the new ones are led.

I'd love to have it if you decide to get rid of it

I had spotlights mounted on cars and all my tow trucks, the best place to put them in in the roof in the center towards the windshield. That way you have 360* of usage and not in the way in the door opening. A roof mount is cheap new and they easy to seal, install.

But anymore I would never even consider putting one on any of my cars, SUV's, trucks to many better options that are cheap and 10x better at the least.

I have 2 52" light bars. Front & rear. It's either I install this on my 97 xj. Or my "99 MJ".

The new Stinger HPL does 740 lumens. That's why I like the Stinger over the Strion.

My daily carry is a 4Sevens Quark QPA Pro single AA LED flashlight. 109 ANSI "out the front" lumens, 240 hour moonlight mode, 48 hour low mode, 10 year warranty. I've owned dozens, and its the best EDC light I've ever had.

For high-powered spot, I have a holster in the XJ that holds a Nitecore EA41. Runs on 4 AA, which are cheap and easy to find anywhere. Tops out at 1020 lumens, and has a 400 hour lumen moonlight mode.

I keep a Nitecore i4 Intellicharger in the Jeep loaded with Eneloops.

I just carry a led maglite with mounts on the side of my console. Super bright and easy to get to. That's what I use as a spotlight
