It was thicker core wise than my crappy oem single core.

got the 2 row Ebay radiator special last night!

under 70.00 bucks from radiatorclassic in California

its in the Jeep! It fits, no test drive yet, wiring up the electric fan still. and hooking up the aux trans cooler too!

10" Ebay fan
cheap 2 row radiator

running under 210* this morning (rainy day not super hot) but 20* cooler than old radiator

They look like the triple threat fans, and fit perfectly on the inside face of the new radiator. I wired it to a relay triggered by ignition hot.

okay... I think I saw a coolant leak on the passenger bottom corner of the radiator yesterday. I had a quarter size spot on the driveway and saw it on the frame rail. I am keeping an eye on it...but a big "told you so" comes to mind.

What shape are your motor mounts in?

The reason I ask is that I've cracked three radiators at the plastic header tanks in the last year. I finally figured out that it was from the engine rocking and loading the rad hoses too much (which then cracked the plastic hose spigot away from the header tank). I've since changed my ways and installed urethane mounts and an all aluminum rad (Griffin).

drain **** was not tight enough. Cold today, in the 50s. Jeep was running at 200.
