Tomorrow I'm going to buy a set 94 larado zj seats. What will need to be done to make them fit in my 99 2 door xj. I know this has been discussed before but I keep hearing different stuff from different people. Thank you for all the help!!!

Not a direct swap. XJ seat frames on ZJ seats.

 

So if I put my 99 2dr xj seat mounts on my new 94 larado seats it will work? I heard the mounting location changed around 93 and 94 on the larado so ive been confused.. thank you for the help!!

 

This is incorrect. Any ZJ seat will bolt to any 95+ XJ.. XJ just needs the horizontal bolt/structure for the front mounting bracket.

 

So you're saying the ZJ seat frame will bolt to the floor of a XJ?

95 started with the "horizontal" front bolt through bracket. Basically like a crossmember under the front above the floor.

 

Understood. So to put ZJ seats in the older XJs you'd need to swap the ZJ seats over to the XJ seat frames.

 

Yes I used to have an older xj and it didnt have the same horizontal positioning so id say you would just have to swap rails! Im lucky I got a 99 (:
