Well, I am lifted 4.5" so I think the extra threads will be OK
I am going to roll the dice and order that kit. Hopefully it works out (worst case I can always buy an XJ drag link separately and sell the ZJ one on craigslist). Thanks for the advice, as always!!
EDIT:
I just priced out that kit from Autozone (duralast), Advance (moog), and Rock Auto. All of those options are closing on $200. At half the price, I am willing to take the risk...

If I were trying to refresh the steering before winter hits, but before I move to 1-ton steering next spring/summer, would this fit the bill? I priced out Moog at ~$175 for a similar kit through Rock Auto.
Clamed 5 year warranty which means I can beat it all winter, upgrade to new steering, and warranty any failed parts...

Seems almost too cheap, like it's not real MOOG parts but the part #s listed are MOOG parts...may go ahead and order it anyway.
Did you end up getting this kit?

I went to Oreily's and put in one of the part numbers and it came up with two different brands with the same part number...

Left my Draglink alone the TREs seemed good there,
Anyone else need to put a washer on the Drivers Side TRE in order to get cotter pin engagement?

From the seller on Ebay:
The brand is XCP
I've never heard of that brand...
Going through Rockauto and finding the cheapest parts, I got a total of $75.72, not sure if rockauto charges for shipping.
for the same parts just MOOG, it comes out to $194.60. However, I can substitute the MOOG sleeves with the cheaper ones, that brings the total down to $177.54
Chart below:
Rock auto
1 x Part # DS1310 Connecting drag link p/s $30.79 Moog $72.79
2 x Part # ES2079S Sleeves (9.54) $4.77 Moog $13.28 26.56 /17.06
1 x Part # ES3096L Tie rod at pitman arm $6.80 MOOG $23.73
1 x Part # DS1312 Connecting drag link d/s $21.79 Moog $47.79
1 x Part # ES3096L Tie rod on left side $6.80 MOOG $23.73

it's $20 for shipping. So going the cheaper route with the sleeves will still come out to ~$200...also just realized I probably ought to just buy a steering damper while im there...

This is the exact listing;

Huge improvement over my worn out stock components, absolutely worth the $100 or whatever it cost me.
The only non-greasable tie rod is the one on the Drag Link on the steering knuckle side (also non-replaceable).
All the parts installed just fine, included new castle nuts, zerk fittings, cotter pins, and all required bolts.
I managed to get an "open box" steering stabilizer for $25 on Amazon (used a Daystar stabilizer because the shock bushings look much higher quality, I think they are poly bushings). Looks really good under there (I will post pics when I get home)

I basically took all the stock linkage off, measured it, replicated those measurements to the new steering kit, and bolted everything back up. Did a driveway alignment but I really really need to get a professional alignment done because I basically gave up after adjusting back/forth and not getting it perfect.

Yeah, you really have to watch the shipping charges with those guys. If you're buying a lot of stuff and can have it all ship from the same warehouse you can still come out ahead of the game.
Also, small/light parts are not too bad. I ordered two Anco #6723 washer pumps from Rockauto to replace the ones in my XJ - the pumps were under $10 each and shipping was just $3.99 - so even with shipping it was cheaper than buying them locally.

I bought the upgraded tie rod from Advance Auto. It isn't Moog but i found a 30% off coupon and i had a $5 reward. It ended up costing me right around $60. I haven't installed it yet but i probably will here soon. The parts are seem very heavy duty and I am excited to see the difference!
