Sorry everyone for the delayed response....

Blake: Im not sure what you mean? A tube that holds a fly fishing rod?

mannva: PM sent!

Gunmetal: Thats a good idea, I hadnt thought of that! What type of flashlight do you use? I have seen people use this for other flashlights - most D cell flashlights have a diameter of about 1.5 inches, and therefore would likely work with this

I use a StreamLight Survivor LED flashlight, and it has a weird shape to it, so it won't fit. Too wide and short.

Looks like a pretty sweet flashlight! Depending on your level of interest I could make you a custom one just for that flashlight! I would likely need the flashlight for a period of time though... Shoot me a PM if youre interested!

The other option would be to make just a flat plate with any kind of Jeep logo / grill design and just put some loops on it to run velcro straps through

I like the Velcro idea, but I could laser engrave one at school next year...

Laser engraved could be cool! If you (or anyone else) have any cool ideas about new things/clips/brackets/mounts/etc that would be cool to 3d print, please let me know! Im not really doing this for the money, I just think its fun to make things that people can actually use

Great idea - I can make one to fit anywhere. Got a specific spot in mind for a specific unit? Or perhaps I could make a universal CB mounting plate.

Ive looked through a few threads and seems like there isnt really one speicific place everyone likes it to be mounted: some like it on the center console, others on the ceiling... Thoughts?

Maybe on the passenger's side of the transmission tunnel?
