I second this. Once i find a hitch i will be ordering one. Sooo much cheaper than an aftermarket bumper and tire carrier.

I can testify these are built TOUGH. I had my tire carrier in the down position to access my toolbox in the back of the jeep. And my wonderful mother in law was turning her wrangler around in the yard and she didn't see my tire carrier and rolled the front end of her wrangler on top of the tire carrier before she realized she was hitting something. She stopped put it in reverse and backed off of it. Needless to say. No warping bending or damage done to the carrier.

WHat is the difference between the extended hitch base and regular? And have you done any for a ZJ? I'm interested in one for both my Xj and ZJ.
