Loud rattling noise when clutch raised

Loud rattling noise when clutch raised
Hi There
Hope all is good, i’ve just joined as i’ve finally bought a Jeep Cherokee 2.5 diesel 2001 60th ann, got it delivered today and all was good but within a few hours a really loud, harsh rattling noise is coming from the transmission while the clutch is raised. This disappears when the clutch is dipped!!! I’m gutted and wondering what this is? I understand these are old and will have issues but I didn’t think so soon.
If anyone could shed some light on this issue that would be amazing.
I will add, the clutch and gearbox was fully rebuilt in 2016. I have all the documentation for this.
