Squeaky Brake Pedal
Has anyone had or have a squeaky brake pedal? When braking. Mine is horrible. Last time I had this they changed the brake booster....if this is the problem again, add it to the list of Jeep Cherokee issues.

I had that with older vehicles and it was the dust boot on the back of the booster squeaking, where the rod passes thru. I dont how a KL is setup, but my fix was a zip tie pinching the boot lip to the rod so the boot would move with it, and not drag. IIRC, i had one squeak where the pedal was pinned to the arm. Pin was rusted. But like said, this was on older vehicles.

Soooo....I put WD40, and then some teflon based dry lube into the boot. Still squeaking. Woke up the next day - squeak gone....need time to penetrate? Anyway - after 1 day - no squeak. Hopefully it lasts! And it's not the rubber boot. Seems like it's the brake booster. Maybe it drys out over time? I had this a couple of years ago and Jeep replaced the booster....but mine is working, was just squeaky.
