UConnect randomly changes between screens, radio stations, essentially all the various settings; at one point when I had my phone connected via CarPlay, it dialed a contact 27 times until I could get it shut off. It's absolutely insane when it doesn't work. Other times, when I start the vehicle, it works just fine, very polite, does what I ask. I've searched the forum, and several other Chrysler/Mopar forums for Uconnect issues and have seen this issue discussed several times. Following advice, I've disconnected the fuse; I've made sure I dusted the screen; I have the current update. It's annoying as the only solution when it doesn't work is to turn off the system, which happens to control my seat heaters, nav, bluetooth to phone, etc. So basically unacceptable.
Now, I have noticed the touch screen cover is starting to separate - not sure what is it made of, but looks like laminate is peeling. If that was the issue, UConnect should fail every time, or so I think. Anybody have any thoughts or ideas on fixing the crazy UConnect? Thanks.

I think i saw a TSB for this, maybe. it was either a update at the dealer or its to be replaced. call your dealer and you should be under warranty right?

when I say update, it would be the computer forcing it to have a firmware update from the dealer not the auto matic one. my gma had 2018(other gma) and she got a stuck screen on update, she had to go get it flashed
