Default adding LED strobe lights

This may or may not be the thread for it but i figured it's a lights tread; anyhow my coworker gave my a twin pack of yellow LED strobe lights yesterday as a late birthday present and i wanna mount em in my grille, but don't know how to go about that other than zip-ties which i'm trying to avoid if possible. Has anyone ever done this before, where'd ya mount yours? I have a 96 XJ and not much placement behind the grille,

Thanks in advance,
Redwolf

Unless you are LE/first responder I don't think it's legal to have strobes on a vehicle.

You can have yellow, but that is all.

What's the purpose of it? Seems like it would be more of a distraction than anything useful. If my vehicle was disabled that often I would make other arrangements.

It's typically seen on construction vehicles, cable vans, power company vehicles and other similar fleets. They are so people asleep at the wheel will notice the vehicle and pay attention.

for me i'm puttin em on mainly for giggles, but i do stop along side the interstate and other major roadways to help out folks who are broke down. snow season is comin up for me and i wanna have these lights on for that main reason, somethin more noticeable for when i'm along side the road,

Ah those are the vatozone, orileys brand wannabe strobes for being what they are they are pretty bright. You could do wig wag flashers in the front and rear also or even get a whelen power supply and have the strobe in my markers and tail lights of truck and jeep. As long as your not being a ******* about them and actually using then for a good then they are perfect legal, still depends on where your living at.
Another angle would to mount them on a another grille so when inspection is up swap grille and don't worry about it and cut them into the grille or with backing plates.
