Could you post up a little more specific how you stretched the rear? Also, did you stretch the front at all? Are the leaf springs a stock height spring? Thanks!

Well I did chevy half ton leafs that are 63" eye to eye and factory Cherokee springs are 51". The front mount with the tape on it is moved forward that 6.5" and I still stretched the rear out that far back. The leaf pack themselves I used the chevy main and second then the xj main, second and third. The front is stretched also I think 3 inches. I sit at 107" wheel base
Any tips on stretching the front? How did you do yours? Sorry for all the questions
Your good man that's what the forum is for is questions right?! Ill answer anyone I can. But the way I did mine was I built the crossmember and tacked it in place then set the axle under with the tire sitting about where I wanted and just made my links to fit. I don't know if its exactly 3" over stock but that's what I guessed I ended up with in the front
Sweet build man. I have read the whole thing up to this point. Any new updates? I have a couple questions for you.
1. If you did the rear suspension over again would you go with the 63" chevy springs again or go another route? I have seen a few guys try the 63" chevy springs on their XJs and I have been seriously considering doing the same on mine to gain flex and a little stretch.
2. Do you think that bringing the front leaf spring mount more forward would hinder ground clearance at all? I am interested on using the 63" chevy springs but not with as much stretch. I'm thinking 2-3 inches stretch max.

Thanks for any input you may have.
Alright so honest opinion on the 63" is that they flex really well and ride awesome but as far as hassle to put them in for the stretch id do ford ranger leafs instead. you still get almost 3" rear stretch but all you need is shackle relocation brackets and you can still use the factory front mounts. As far as me hitting the mount now that its further forward I don't hit it any more or less than my buddies factory mounts so its not a big deal no
After getting the trans fixed and back in I finally installed a winch in the jeep. I didn't really want a big box sticking out so I pilled the winch control box apart and hid it inside the bumper I think it turned out clean
My most recent endeavor was to finally paint all that damn underbody ive been neglecting. and then I bit the bullet to paint the side of my jeep. still need to get some real roll on bedliner but it tunred out sweet.
Gotta take a moment to appreciate my lady. So happy to have found a girl into working on cars
