This is my blank canvas:
Attachment 286946

Body is in EXCELLENT condition, I couldn't believe how good it was; it's better than my 85k mi dd XJ I just got done building, and that one was clean!)

Guy was asking $1500, but because it was a half finished 4x4 conversion I talked him down to $780 haha!

What ya doing with those wheels????

Was going to throw them on CL once I get to the point of taking the OEM axles out haha. You interested? All 4 are in decent shape, all with the center caps.

So thought I would update my uild as its been a couple weeks. I've been busy working on my buggy, and will most likely start its own build on pirate and here for all to see.

My silver dd though, the one I jumped haha, will be getting fixed here shortly, jswft716 was kind enough to let me grab a replacement axle from one of the 4 jeeps he has laying around. I got it stripped down, and now I just have to have it welded up with a truss this time.

Still need to determine if I can save the C gussets off the bent 30; going to be a pain to saw off if so.

I'll keep you all posted! trying to get this thing fixed before 2 big events in a month; Trail Ride at Kissing Bridge, and my friend is hosting his first event of the year, FlexRock4x4.

Haven't been updating my build here as much as I would like, been busy with work and putting a lot of my time, and money, into my wonton buggy build.

Anyway, I got the bent d30 out from under the jeep. I spent a couple hours and managed to save the TB bracket, mini-skids, and sway bar endlinks. The c-gussets were not happening, so I ordered new ones from IRO.

I'm also going to use this time to have a truss put on the new 30, and I'll be redoing the TB with some spare DOM I had laying around, with 7/8 heims, just for piece of mind. There wasn't anything wrong with the 3/4, but why not have all heims on the rig the same size right?

I also didn't notice when I took the axle out the other day, that I just caught yesterday, is the 30 shafts are toast. Probably from the jump, who knows.

I haven't opened the diff yet to look for shavings, but I know they'll be in there. hopefully the locker is ok.

This sucks because I spent some good time making these full circle snap ring shafts, only to have that happen. I don't really want to spring for chromos, with my buggy build coming along, so I'll just do another set of stock shafts with full circle snap rings.

I also took apart the MAC solenoid that came with my ARB compressor to clean. After jumping, the compressor would vent air through the exhaust port on the solenoid and cycle every 15sec or so. Fixed it by taking apart the actual solenoid and cleaning it.

I'll prob start one once I start on body work and axles. Right now it's just kind of here and there stuff. Although I did redo the whole engine haha.

I will eventually, and have the thread on here and pirate. Stay tuned!
