Come on, i need someone to wheel with!
I could always use help (with the jeep and then moving), lol. I definitely bit off more than I can chew on this one. I have all kinds of other stuff that needs done after I get the floor, rocker panel, and rear bumper done. I'm only doing the drivers side then I'm putting it back on the road. I have skid plates, lighting, a/c, and more ready to be put on.

I got my driver side floor pan in, seat bracket fabbed, rocker cut out and 2x6x1/4 welded in windshield washer pump replaced, inside the front drivers fender sprayed with fluid film, everything installed primed and painted. Now for the passenger side....maybe next week, I need a break from rust repair.

Did ball joints on both knuckles and installed CavFabs steering. Thing is pure beef and hit 60mph right after with no sway bars or stabilizer to take the road bumps on the back roads with no issues.
weld not needed. they wont go anywhere. just use good seam sealer and a couple screws use a piece of aluminum/

I used two of those shock washers that go around the rubber spacers and a nut and short bolt. Works good for me.

Sorry no, I didn't have my camera with me at the shop. Seats back in for now so getting a pic won't work. I got a sheet of 16g and fabbed it to be similar to the original.

Went to HF last night to take advantage of their "72 hour liquidation sale"... whatever, they have a couple every time an fly farts, but hey...
I've had my eye on their 3 ton low-profile jack for a while because it's low enough to fit under the wife's car and it will lift high enough that it's not USELESS on the Jeep... well... the axles anyway. I got their coupon flier in my email for 20 bucks off the jack, and used their coupon for a box of nitrile gloves for 6 bucks and another pair of Hardy work gloves for 4 bucks. Figure if I got out of there with all that under a hundo, I'm doin' pretty good! And so I did... 96 and change with tax... SWEEET!
Loaded everything up into the Jeep and went to start her up and I got a short activation of the starter and then nothing. No lights, no fuel pump spoolup, nothing. So I opened the hood and the hood light came on.... ohhhh kaaaayyyy. The interior lights were back on too. Started checking for loose grounds but they were all tight. Just on a whim, I decided to check the positive cable. Sure enough, I tightened down the clamp real tight, but I didn't tighten the bolt that the leads were attached to... it was loose enough to not make good solid contact with the clamp.
No biggie, I'll just tighten it up with my..... oh crap... I took all my tools out of the jeep to work on my wife's car and forgot to put them back in.
SO I marched back into HF and bought a socket set. I'd been looking for a set for home anyway so I could quit taking tools out of my Jeep (now you see why don't ya?)... so this solves that problem..... had a coupon for the socket set too
