Default 2 week recap

what i did:
fixed brakes from pedal to the floor, replaced 2 pieces of tubing, rusted, adjusted rear shoes. stops great.
replaced rusted flooring, pass side complete, driver front, solid with new metal all rust bullet treated and sealed with seam sealer. about 3 days on this.
started a total lube change with an oil/filter today. 10w30
fixed an o2, p0138 problem. i saw tape on the o2 conn when i was doing the floor. i untapped the conn and found it was not plugged in fully when the cat was changed!! call that luck but ill take the ez ones!
opened up steering column to check tricky hazard sw trouble. still on that one.
started 2 weeks ago with wash and wax,my first ever black vehicle.
put nice wheels from other jeep on "black beauty"!
grease gun lubed all front fittings, twice just to be sure.
sprayed tailpipe ext black.
replaced tailgate struts, new, nice and solid.

working on
back to black on plastic side trim about 5 applications ,,,so far? will it go back to black??

tomorrow title and plates at license branch.
this thing is more fun to drive every day, gutsey!!
more later...

Wheeled back home. Drove 750 miles one way, hit some trails, drove 750 miles back loaded up and covered in mud. Got 21 mpg there and about 18-19 on the way back from the added roof rack and probably 100 lbs of mud on the body, in the engine bay and in the air filter. I have got to get rid of that thing.

Pretty disappointed in the KO2s on the rocks. Should've known they wouldn't have gripped as well as MTZs but didn't think it would be that noticeable. Slid off some rocks and landed right on the pumpkin. I wasn't going anywhere but fortunately, my buddy literally pushed me off and I bumped my way up. Sad face.

I was going to ask what the point was but then I remembered you're not exactly running a stock drivetrain lol

I took the Jeep out to an event in New Jersey, Jeeps Against Cancer. Saw LOTS of interesting Jeeps out there, mostly Wranglers. But when I spotted an XJ, I had to talk to their owners.

My ride before heading out to Jeep Flow's Jeeps Against Cancer event.

I was invited by the Line-X crew who had four spots reserved for us.

My friend's drone captured me and a friend in front of my XJ.

Of all the XJs I saw, this was one of the best! This guy has been painstakingly modding his ride for the past 16 years! He even converted it from an automatic transmission to a manual. Very impressive build.

Despite the derision by many of the new Cherokee, this guy really had it decked out and boasted about being able to handle tough trails in Rausch.

^that's awesome looking

Changed my coil today. Noticeable improvement on acceleration. Or I'm making it up. Either way, worth the money

Put sway bar discos on the gremlin. Big gain in flex. This is the same stump before and after.
