The "Red Fox" Project. 12/1/16
Hello some of you guys may know me around here for my grand cherokee build but i have now moved onto something a little different. Yesterday i picked myself up a new project. I traded an xbox one and 200$ for this 1995 jeep XJ SE it has front and rear aussie lockers a custom roof rack, the red gauge cluster, keyless entry and electric windows and locks. It also came with 5 spare wheels and tires and a hi lift jack.m Here is the issue the motor has a bad rod knock so i will be donating my 4.0 from my other red XJ the red headed (insert censor here) I plan on building this jeep into an overall reliable overlander style build. i will do some basic motor work and intake, 4.5 lift and some 32s. I will also be doing some custom interior work that i had planned for my grand cherokee before i rolled and snapped the axle offroad. Below are some pictures of my collection and my new jeep. Stay posted this build may not be the fastest but i am happy to share the experience with you guys!

No this is actually a picture of it being pulled. I am just getting pictures together. motor machine work and assembly is taking way longer than i was originally expecting due to backorders and such but new expected date of finished motor is April 1st. (hopefully not a joke) I will be getting a video of the break in process. Be prepared for a few write ups and reviews on the products i am using. I will also be taking the trip to Moab or 31 mile road New Mexico this June/July depending on budget and weather.

I am going to have a separate more in depth thread later this summer on the turbo part of the build with all sorts of engine, tune, and turbo specifics for anybody interested in going this route. I will keep all the in depth stuff out of the basic build thread.

Got a quote for the exhaust manifold I will need for my turbo. Looking at 1,300-3,500. All custom built with high quality U.S.A. materials. Odds are it won't exceed 1600
